Questioning Mitsubishi .! December 22, 2008
In case , any of you are not aware of the New Mitsubishi prices, just have a look.
Carbrid Says : The Cedia and the Lancer can be further cut down by 25 – 50 000’s . Here’s what we feel :
- Cedia : The new Cedia does not seem very appealing , it just sports a 2-DIN Touch Screen Kenwod Unit and a Funny Sick Front Side ! The Old Cedia’s front side was much better though the rear remains unchanged.Why did the company suddenly facelift the Cedia ?? The Sales are still down and the facelifting hasn’t proved to be useful by anyway except adding a few more thousands on the customer .
- Outlander : Though the SUV is assembled in the Chennai Unit , it shares a common price range with the X-Trail and the Captiva. Honda , Nissan and Chevrolet import their SUVs into India paying a little over 100 % as customs duty . It seems suprising to know that the SUV is priced at 23k On-Road . Why doesn’t Mitsubishi import it as a CBU(Completely Built Unit) itself if the pricing is going to be same ?? Why have they taken the strains to set up the Chennai unit to assemble the Outlander ??
- Pajero : While most of the countries sell the new Pajero (Indian Montero) , why is Mitsubishi still marketing the Old Pajero in India ?? The current Indian Pajero is the 2004-2005 Pajero in most of the Asian Countries . Why cant Mitsubishi pass on the new design and features of the Pajero to its Indian Customers and why is it marketing the same as a Luxury Vehicle (priced at 40K) ?

Hyundai i20 this month.! December 20, 2008
Hyundai is all set to launch their premium hatchback i20 this month in India.
The car had made its debut at the Paris Motor Show 2008 in October and will be priced in the Rs 5-5.5-lakh range.
Competitors :Suzuki Swift Zxi @ Rs 5.08 lakh and Skoda Fabia @ Rs 5.24 lakh.
It will sport a 1.4-litre petrol Kappa engine and will be manufactured at Hyundai’s Chennai plant.

A Lady in China seems to have had a nice fight with a Tow Vehicle Driver.
